Well i can confirm that my pcke will record on both digital and analog tuners at the same time, if i can help you try and figure out whats differnt between yours and my setups just let me know. Right now i am testing recording with all 3 tuners to see if i run into any problems but im not seeing any errors and all status info says that i'm recording on both of the tuners on the m It's actualy kinda funny my major is chemistry and I ended up working at a IT job my last year at school If there is any way i can help you just let me know: In Device Manager, I show under Sound.
I've just installed the AverMedia M, and have attempted twice to alter the bda. For the ATSC side add this to your bda.

I would really like to get this working. Thats the way I have it setup on my system, Just to confirm you are able to use both the analog and digital tuners seperatly? If one was to connect only cable, ,780 one need to split the signal to both antennae? It combi out that i was wrong about the digital cable signal here in the dorms, at least in my building.
Well the people at aver media got back to me today and unforunatly their response wasn't what i had hoped for Can someone confirm that QAM decoding is working with this tuner?

I shall try uninstall and reinstall. I uninstall and reinstall both gbpvr 1. Anyone else got it running? Also can any one provide any feedback as to how this card has performed for them and the quality of analog recordings that are produced.
I was wondering if someone with this card could verify something. I dont really have time to write you a detailed question for them, but basically you're asking for information about how third party apps can submit QAM tuning requests with their M Ckmbo drivers.

In setup, I have both devices as 1. I'll call them [AVerMedia M] in both these files, so you may want to rename yours for a smooth upgrade. Cheers - I'll include the definitions in the master avfrmedia.
Because if it is, this is much cheaper than the OnAir tuner which had been the only integrated option. Each and every device manufacturer implements it there own way.
Does the M really have a hardware encoder and does not require avermevia seperate card with a HW encoder? Hello everybody I am thinking of purchasing a M to pick up the unencrypted digital cable signals carried by my local cable company, mostly the locals are unencrypted. I dont know anything about how AverMedia do their QAM tuning, and dont have any contacts at the company to ask.

I am started to wish I had waited and bought the AverTV. I just pciw and it works on my system. Not both at the same time. I would think it should show two tuners like my Hauppauge If so I think your best bet would to be uninstall and reninstall gbpvr and possible the drivers for the M as well Also I am using an older version of gbpvr version 0.

One time, I had it recording on both tuners at once but now cannot reproduce it. I ran a qam scan with their software and came up with nothing, i guess that it must be filtered in the dorms but not in the apartments.
These are supposed to be dual tuners and can record two shows at once. Also if any one could give me a quick break down as to what i need to do for my box to play back the HDTV recordings, i have looked at the other info on the forums and just want to know if any of it will differ if i doing QAM vs OTA HD Thanks.
